My entire family has become cellular phone crazy! We all own one phone, which makes the number of cellular phones in the family quite ridiculous. Of course my wife and I have come to rely on our cell phones as one of the essential basics, so I suppose it was only a matter of time before our kids caught on. Although, in truth, one of the major factors pushing us to buy them cellular phones was the fact that my wife wants to be able to reach them whenever she needs to. The fact that the wireless phone service providers offer free phones with many of their plans was also a major factor.
